With over 20 years of experience in business management, she began her professional career in consulting at Ernst & Young, later joining Portugal Telecom as part of the Internal Audit team.

Madalena Albuquerque then pursued an international career at Syngenta International, a global leader in AgriTech, working across three regions—Switzerland, Singapore, and Spain—in Business Development and Marketing. She was also a member of the Executive Committee of Syngenta Spain.

In Portugal, she co-founded and served as COO of Sakproject and later took on the role of CEO at Hoooked Portugal SA.

She holds a degree in Economics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and an MBA from INSEAD.
