Joaquim Coelho, Director of Business Development at CJR Renewables, leads the company’s international project and business development efforts in the renewable energy sector. He is responsible for the global coordination of proposals and strategic expansion in markets such as CEE, LATAM, and EMEA.

An Electrical Engineer from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP), with a specialization in Electrical Power Systems, Joaquim has over 15 years of experience in the sector. Between 2019 and 2024, he was directly involved in the award of projects totaling approximately 4,000 MW across solar, wind, and energy storage (BESS) domains.

With a results-driven approach, empathetic leadership, and a strong focus on building solid partnerships, Joaquim is recognized as a leading figure in the industry.

He currently leads a multidisciplinary team of over 30 professionals across Portugal, Poland, Romania, and Chile, demonstrating his ability to align commercial strategy with technical requirements and to mobilize people in the pursuit of solutions in challenging, multicultural contexts.
