Gilda Pereira has a law degree from Universidade Católica de Lisboa and a postgraduate degree in small and medium-sized business management from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. In 2014 she founded Ei! Assessoria Migratória, the first Migration Agency in Portugal. It provides support services for obtaining visas, as well as all the necessary support for families and professionals wishing to relocate, as well as advising Portuguese companies wishing to hire foreign talent. Before founding Ei, she worked as a lawyer in Lisbon and later in Angola, where she spent seven years as a business, tax and management consultant for the oil and gas industry. She is also the founder of AILD - International Association of Lusodescendants, where she is vice-president. Passionate about the Portuguese diaspora, she also founded Descendências Magazine, with the aim of giving voice and notoriety to the Portuguese in the diaspora.
