Lisa Martinez

Lisa Martinez is a dedicated systems connector and community leader who has made significant contributions to the South Florida region, where she has lived and worked her entire life. In 2018, she founded LM Genuine Solutions, a strategic management and business consulting firm that focuses on serving government, education, non-profit, and private sector entities. Her firm is recognized for providing tailored strategic solutions that drive growth and effectiveness across various sectors.

Before founding LM Genuine Solutions, Lisa Martinez served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS). In this role, she worked closely with the Superintendent of Schools to develop, communicate, execute, and sustain strategic initiatives that aligned with the district’s vision and goals. Her efforts were instrumental in creating robust educational frameworks and promoting community engagement within the school system.

Ms. Martinez’s career also includes pivotal roles within Miami-Dade County’s government. She was recruited to join the Miami-Dade County Mayor’s senior staff, where she oversaw the Departments of Cultural Affairs, Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces, and the Miami-Dade Public Libraries. Her focus extended to being the county’s liaison on children’s issues, including school readiness and education-related programs. Her expertise and leadership in these areas eventually led to her promotion as Chief of Staff.
